• Criminal Justice

  Criminal Justice - AS*

  Prepare for or enhance your career in law enforcement on-line or in a traditional classroom setting, in the Criminal Justice program at Virginia College where technology meets law enforcement. Virginia College's associate degree in Criminal Justice is offered online and on campus (or a combination of both) to fit the busy schedules of today's students. For those with work hours that vary from day to day, for students with an active family life, or for people who just want to complete their course work on their own schedule, online learning is an excellent option.   You could be a part of it with the training you'll receive from the Southern Institute of Interior Design at Virginia College, with over a quarter century's worth of successful, award-winning graduates. The baccalaureate curriculum is accredited by the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER).

• Cosmetology

  Cosmetology - AD*

  Virginia College's Cosmetologist Certificate offers students the eligibility to take the Alabama State Board of Cosmetology licensing examination for cosmetology with a minimum of 1500 hours.   Learn to design web pages in HTML, develop interactive web applications and much more with Virginia College's Web Design and Development AAS degree! The Web Design and Development Associate of Applied Science degree prepares students for a technical career in the exciting and ever-changing Internet web design, development and administration fields. The program will give you valuable experience with many software applications such as Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Flash Professional 8, Adobe Studio 8, Adobe Dreamweaver 8, MySQL, and JavaScript PHP.

  Students who graduate with the AAS degree in Web Design and Development will also be prepared for webmaster certification programs in many industries.

• Paralegal Studies

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation and Game Design at Virginia College will give you a strong foundation in the fundamentals of artistic design, story development, project management, digital content creation, and portfolio development.
